Jason Hu is currently the Director of Research Integrity Engagement at Taylor & Francis Publishing Group, where he leads engagement with stakeholders across research ecosystem to safeguard research integrity and publication ethics. An international scholarly publishing executive with over 20 years of experience, he has worked across commercial publishing, non-profit infrastructure, research integrity, industry standards, strategic partnerships and entrepreneurial ventures, bringing deep insight into the global academic publishing landscape. He previously held leadership positions at ORCID and Wiley. Mr. Hu has been serving as a Council Member and Trustee of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) since 2016, contributing in the development of key ethical guidelines and advices of complex cases. He is also the Chair of United2Act Education Working Group, a Trustee of the Publishing Training Centre (UK), an Advisor to the Asian Council of Science Editors, the Publishing Journal and Wuhan University School of Information Management.Mr. Hu holds a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Engineering from Wuhan University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
